Message from the Director Train and prepare for a bright future
Welcome to the YIC Rehabilitation College. Thank you for your interest in the educational program offered by our school. Since the YIC Rehabilitation College was established in April 2003, we have educated students to be occupational and physical therapists, all of whom have gone on to contribute with empathy and compassion to medical and health care both locally and internationally. Furthermore, based on one of our school’s vital educational goals, to foster the ability of students to contribute to the globalization of medical and health services, we have established an international exchange program with foreign schools in Asia and North America. Through this international exchange program, students at our college have opportunities to learn about different cultures and use their English communication skills in addition to participating in international exchanges in rehabilitation medicine. We wish to further extend our international exchange program to other foreign schools.
The rapid development of medical science and technology has resulted in cures for previously incurable diseases. In the rehabilitation field, new medical technologies such as iPS regenerative medicine and robotic medical devices will reveal a new era of rehabilitation practices.
In accordance with our school motto “Train and prepare for a bright future,” let us work together to become rehabilitation practitioners who actively contribute to medical and health care.
